Right of withdrawal

1. Scope

This right of withdrawal applies to all FindLocal products and services offered, including those offered by the marketplace providers and FindLocal self-offered subscriptions. FindLocal acts as a marketplace, the right of withdrawal for subscriptions may vary depending on the provider. The following provisions generally apply to subscriptions that are FindLocal be completed.

2. Right of withdrawal for subscriptions

2.1 Cancellation of subscriptions

If you have a subscription with a provider on FindLocal You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract without giving any reason. This applies to all subscriptions that involve the regular delivery of products or services.

2.2 Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires as soon as the service provider has begun to provide the service and you have previously expressly consented to the service provider beginning to provide the service before the expiry of the withdrawal period. This applies in particular to digital content and/or services that are provided immediately after purchase (e.g., software, downloads, digital products).

2.3 Exercise of the right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (FindLocal) and/or the relevant provider in writing of your decision to withdraw from the contract. This can be done by means of a clear statement (e.g., an email). You can use the following sample withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory:

3. Refunds in case of cancellation

3.1 Refund of payments

In the event of cancellation of subscriptions or services, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs, unless otherwise agreed. The refund will be made no later than 14 days after the day on which we are notified of your cancellation. However, we reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned products or services or you have provided proof that you have returned the products (whichever occurs first).

3.2 Refund for use already made

In the event of cancellation after the start of use of the subscription or service (particularly for digital or subscription-based services), the provider reserves the right to retain a reasonable partial amount for the service already provided. The amount will be calculated pro rata depending on how much of the service has already been used.

4. Cancellation and return of physical products (if applicable)

4.1 Return of physical products

Returns of physical products are generally only possible if the product was delivered damaged or faulty, or if the subscription is faulty. To initiate a return, you must follow the return conditions and ensure that the product is returned unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

4.2 Return requests

To initiate a return, please contact us immediately using the contact forms provided on the website or by email to the respective return location of the provider. In your message, please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged product (if applicable)
  • A detailed description of the problem

Returns can only be processed after receipt of the return request and the corresponding confirmation. Returns without prior confirmation will not be accepted.

5. Additional provisions for marketplace providers

5.1 Responsibility of the provider
